Minuteman Missile National Historic Site

The Minuteman Missile National Historic Site was established in 1999 to document the history of of the Cold War and the nuclear arms race. It preserves a portion of the former Minuteman II missile system. The site includes the visitor center, the Delta-01 Launch Control Facility, and the Delta-09 missile silo. The Minuteman Missile National Historic Site is located along Interstate 90, near the east entrance to Badlands National Park. I visited the site in Sept 2019.
