Devils Tower National Monument

I don't know what I was expecting, but Devils Tower didn't exactly blow me away. It's a small park, you drive a fairly long way to get there, and the time I went it was hazy/smoky from summer forest fires. Once you arrive, take a short hike (~ 1 mile) around the Tower, shoot way too many photos of the iconic rock, and leave. There was a prairie dog town, but I have all the photos of prairie dogs I need. Oh, did I mention there was a long line of cars waiting to get into the park?
